Nicole + Sam

During the height of Antigua and Barbuda’s wedding season, love found its stage at the exclusive Carlisle Bay, where Nicole and Sam promised forever along the island’s tranquil southwest coast. The air was still, kissed by the sea breeze, as Mrs. Skepple led an intimate ceremony overlooking the bay; a moment beautifully curated by Jodie and her team from the resort, where every detail felt soft, intentional, and true.

Nicole began her morning surrounded by family and her closest friends, her bride tribe, in a suite alive with laughter and excitement. With Chelsian of Ché Artistry Makeup and Nicole from De Lavish Hair bringing their artistry to life, the transformation was seamless. Just before the ceremony, we stole ten quiet minutes for a mini bridal session — and in that fleeting window, I witnessed one of the most radiant brides I’ve ever photographed.

Her gown, a fully beaded mermaid silhouette glistening like sunlight on water, paired with the veil her younger self had once dreamt of, reflected everything she had become: elegant, confident, and deeply in love.

Carlisle Bay Antigua is a photographer’s playground with lush gardens, calm shores, and architecture that invite creativity and mastery of natural light. Even as a soft drizzle drifted through the day, the mood felt cinematic. The overcast sky diffused the sun just enough to make every frame glow — as though nature itself was quietly blessing their union.

And then there was Sam. Reserved, yet perfectly attuned to his bride’s energy. Though he shied from the camera, his warmth shone through every moment they shared. Together, they radiated an effortless harmony. The kind of love that doesn’t need direction; it simply exists.

As the evening drew to a close, the rain clouds faded and the sky opened revealing a sunset so breathtaking, it felt like the island’s final gift to them. A perfect ending to a day where everything, and everyone, seemed to fall beautifully into place.
