Kristen + Brian

A room at Cocobay Resort hummed with laughter, the kind that only comes from a bridal tribe in full celebration mode. Curlers spun, matching PJs swished, and the scent of setting spray lingered in the air as two stylists worked their magic. The final touch? Airbrush goddess Natalie from NDF Makeup, transforming the ladies into golden-hour perfection.

Kristen booked me a year and a half before this day back when I was still in Amsterdam finishing my Bachelors degree, dreaming of capturing weddings in Antigua. Standing there behind my camera, I couldn’t help but marvel at how far we’d both come from two different worlds, now here, capturing this moment that felt like it was meant to be.

Kristen, ever the classic beauty, brought her bridal vision to life with grace and pearls. A vintage ode, her soft curls pinned just so, a simple dress that let her pearl shawl and caged fascinator take center stage. She looked like she had stepped right out of an old love letter.

After a mini bridal shoot filled with laughter, sass, and twirls, it was time for one of the sweetest parts of the day, the first look with her dads. Let’s just say… tears, hugs, and a few deep breaths later, we were all holding back our emotions.

Meanwhile, Brian, camera-shy but all heart waited at the aisle beneath the most breathtaking driftwood arch by Lilly and her Florexotica team, adorned with tropical florals bursting in color.

Set on Valley Church Beach and planned by Koral and her team at Rocks Group, this ceremony was intimacy at its finest. Guests were greeted with fresh coconuts and the option to spike it with a splash of English Harbour 5-year-old Antigua rum. (Because honestly, why not?)

The waves danced against the shore as vows were exchanged, and just like that, the celebration unfolded: cocktails, dinner, reception and then... the after party all at Sheer Rocks.

The reception? Electric. The first dance? Electrifying. Just as Katy Perry’s “Firework” reached its pre-chorus, the sky erupted in color. Sing with me..."You just gotta igniteee the lightttttttt and leeeeet it shineeee. Just ooooown the nighttttt like the Fourth of Julyyyyy cause baby, you're a FIREWORKKKKKKK" BOOM BOOM BOOM an incredible display lit up the west coast. Perfectly timed, completely unexpected, and utterly unforgettable. We all sang, we all screamed.

And just when you thought it couldn’t get any better, the after party proved otherwise. Shirtless dads and dudes. Dance floor push-ups. Swimsuit changes. Laughter echoing into the night. It was a wedding that exploded with excitement and love.
